Houston
has many largely undiscovered treasures. The Ensemble Theatre
is one. The Ensemble is the oldest and largest professional African
American theatre in the Southwest, and is one of the largest professional
African American theatres in the nation that owns its facility
and produces in-house.
We
invite you to join us in sharing the unique Ensemble experience.
The Ensemble has formed a special group of arts enthusiasts and
supporters known as the Friends of The Ensemble Theatre. Members
of the Friends group make a charitable contribution to the theatre
and automatically become Ensemble season ticket holders. Members
are also invited to several “Friends Only” cast functions
and receive a special Friends e-newsletter that provides background
information and descriptions for each production.
When you decide to join us as members, as we hope you will do,
you will also be invited to a special “Friends Only”
performance of The Ensemble’s production of Ain’t
Misbehavin’ on June 27 to be followed by a buffet dinner
with the cast and crew. Please join us in The Ensemble experience
— we promise a good time to be had by all!
